Eastenders actress Cheryl Fergison has revealed she wants to take part in Celebrity Big Brother 2012 later this year.
The 48-year-old TV star, who plays Heather Trott in the long-running BBC One soap, is set to be written out of the show later this month.
Speaking on This Morning, Cheryl said of her time on the series: “It’s been amazing to play her and I’ve had a great time at EastEnders and it was very sad leaving there.”
And she told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she’d love a stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house… or a music career!
She added: “I’ve written songs since I was a teenager really but then I learnt to play instruments. I have a saxophone at home, a drum kit, I play guitar and a bit of piano.”
Celebrity Big Brother 2012 returns to Channel 5 later this year, with rumoured housemates including The Bachelor star Carianne Barrow.
