The Celebrity Big Brother housemates passed their Big In Japan task last night, after Denise Welch managed to fool the Twins, Romeo and Gareth into thinking they were famous in Japan!
Housemates were led to believe that as well as being aired in the UK, Big Brother has also been available to watch in Japan and has become an overnight success, so much so that it has a cult following and all housemates are all now ‘big in Japan’
The secret task saw Denise called to the Diary Room and asked to pick out the three most gullible housemates, who she and the remaining housemates would have to convince that they really were famous in Japan, thanks to a staged interview on Japanese TV.
To pass the task, the housemates had to successfully get the chosen 3 to believe in the hoax and join in with 3 outrageous stunts as part of their interviews.
On hearing the results last night, Gareth quipped: “I really thought I was big in Japan! I had something over Frankie Cocozza.”
