Self-made multi-millionaire Lord Sugar was approached by Celebrity Big Brother bosses after a truly “all-star cast”, it has been claimed. The boss of The Apprentice 2011 was reportedly asked by Channel 5 chiefs to take part in the new series which will start on January 5.
Unsurprisingly Lord Sugar is understood to have ‘politely declined’ the invitation to enter Britain’s most famous house
Something about him already having plenty of money, a high media profile and a hit show of his own may have something to do with Lord Sugar turning the role down, we assume.
It’s not Lord Sugar’s only reality TV invite this year, with the Amstrad boss also saying no to an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing’s Christmas special.
He moaned on Twitter: “Can you believe those plonkers at the BBC thought that I might be up for Strictly Come Dancing?!”
Other names linked to the new series of Celebrity Big Brother include X Factor flop Frankie Cocozza and TOWIE’s Kirk Norcross.
