Amy Winehouse set for comeback on Celebrity Big Brother 2011 on Channel 5

British singer turned tabloid sensation Amy Winehouse is reportedly preparing for her big comeback on Celebrity Big Brother 2011 on Channel 5. The Daily Star claims that the ‘Back to Black’ singer is currently “considering” an offer to enter the celebrity house this August.

The newspaper claims that the performer had been “sounded out” by producers, with a show insider blabbing: “Amy is definitely near the top of the show’s wish-list of potential housemates.”

A spokesperson for the 27-year-old, currently in London’s Priory Clinic, said: “She wants to be ready for performances in Europe this summer and decided to seek an assessment. She will remain at the Priory on doctors’ advice.”

They added that Amy had “no plans at the moment ” to be a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother 2011.

Oh well.

Other ‘celebrities’ linked to the show include Radio 1Xtra DJ Tim Westwood, US rapper Snoop Dog, S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens and The Only Way is Essex babe Amy Childs.

hey i would just like to say i love big brother big when its people like ther is talk about amywine house going back to the big brother house that just puts me of watching it but we ill see when it comes to it

I would love to see a return of Big Brother…Celebrity or Otherwise!
Amy Winehouse…not really one of my favourites,but never like any of the ‘celebrities’ that enter the house first time…guess thats the idea of the show…they have a chance to show they are not totally up their own bottoms as is usually the case!
Their slow and gradual demise is all part of the pyschological experiment that ‘is big brother’!
