Emma Willis "excited" about Big Brother's return - but says she's not hosting it!

Emma Willis

Former Big Brother Little Brother presenter Emma Willis has she is “extremely excited” about the return of Big Brother on Channel 5 this summer – but said it wouldn’t be her fronting the show. Despite being the favourite to present the new series, Emma said she had no plans to join the programme on Channel 5.

“I can’t quite express how extremely excited I am at the return of [Big Brother],” the telly host said, adding: “It’s gonna be like Christmas that last 3 months! Then it really will be Christmas! 2 christmas’s back to back. That’s what I’m talkin bout! [sic]“

In a change from the normal Channel 4 schedule, this year the reality megahit will air in the autumn rather than the summer. A four week long celebrity series is expected in August followed by an epic 13-week-long ‘normal’ show directly afterwards airing from September.

Meanwhile Emma put doubts on the rumours suggesting she’d be hosting the show, telling fellow presenter Leigh Francis that she didn’t have any knowledge of becoming the presenter of the new series.

Presenter won’t be chosen for months yet, she’s definitely in with a shot. It’ll be her or Dowling.

  • KM S

Who should host the ‘new’ Big Brother? If Davina McCall is ruling herself out of the running, then Emma Willis would be an acceptable replacement – but if not her, then how about a “dream team” partnership of ex-BB winners Brian Dowling and Chantelle Houghton?

”then how about a “dream team” partnership of ex-BB winners Brian Dowling and Chantelle Houghton?”

or Brian and Narrinder :-D… the best BB double act ever. Helen was better than Chantelle too. As long as its not Josie :-O
