5.8 million viewers tuned in for last night’s latest Voice UK results show, the least watched to date.
In more bad news for bosses, the 30-minute show lost 500,000 viewers on last week’s 6.3 million figure.
The show saw four artists – Aleks Josh, David Julien, Cassius Henry and Toni Warne – all leave the competition.
There was also duets from Ruth Brown & Leanne Mitchell and Jaz Ellington & Tyler James, while Paloma Faith was the guest performer.
But none of it helped to boost the ratings.
An average audience of 5.8 million viewers exactly tuned in between 7:25 and 8PM, up slightly on Saturday’s performance show which was watched by 5.7 million.
It was still the most watched show of the day, edging out Vera on ITV1 which had 5.6 million viewers (excluding +1).
Next weekend’s results show will see superstars Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue both performing, so no doubt bosses will be keeping their fingers crossed for an increase to the figures.
continues next Saturday at 6:30PM on BBC One.
