It’s not just The Voice UK ratings that are suffering, with Britain’s Got Talent receiving its lowest ever rating for live show last night.
Despite a good set of ratings for the auditions, last night’s latest semi-final results fell to 6.8 million, more than 20% down on last year’s episode.
The 9.3 million peak viewers was down nearly a 2.5 million on Monday’s show.
On average, 7.8 million tuned in to last night’s latest semi-final, which saw the Loveable Rogues and Molly Rainford make the final on Saturday. It was down well over a million on Monday’s 9.4 million average.
The results show well even further, dipping to an average of 6.8 million, with a further 300,000 watching on +1.
Some have blamed the dip on this year’s show being held earlier in the year, meaning that the week of live shows has not aired across the half-term holiday like it has in previous years.
The live shows continue tonight and tomorrow, before taking Friday off ahead of Saturday’s final.
