The Voice UK

The Voice UK ratings dipped to a series low last night, with 6.6 million viewers tuning it.

The pre-recorded results show saw us wave goodbye to Hannah Berney and Ruth Ann St Luce, following Team Danny and Team Jessie’s performances on Saturday.

It was down a whopping two million viewers on last week’s results show, which attracted 8.6 million in a similar slot.

The figure comes despite over 8 million viewers watching Saturday’s performance show.

The BBC series was comprehensively beaten by Britain’s Got Talent, which averaged over 9 million viewers for its first live show.

The opening BGT semi-final peaked at over 11.4 million viewers, as Ashleigh and Pudsey and Only Boys Aloud left the competition.

Next week the two shows will clash again, despite starting at the much earlier time of 6:10PM. The BGT final airs from 7:30PM on ITV1.
