Ratings for The Voice UK fell for a third consecutive show last night, as 8.6 million tuned in for the first results.
Just three weeks ago, 10.8 million were tuning in to watch the end of the blind auditions, but it seems the live shows have turned viewers off.
Saturday night’s performance show attracted 9.3 million, beaten by Britain’s Got Talent 2012 on ITV1.
And last night’s first results, which featured a performance from Lana Del Rey, saw a further dip.
An average audience of 8.6 million watched as Sophie Griffin and Sam Buttery became the first to leave the competition.
The show peaked at 9 million viewers, down 1.3 million on Saturday’s show.
It didn’t help that last night’s results were pre-recorded with spoilers on who left being circulated online via websites such as Twitter.
