Even Frankie Cocozza and Natasha Giggs entering Celebrity Big Brother couldn’t stop the show from shedding viewers last night, with the series down nearly a million on Thursday’s launch.
3.5 million people watched earlier in the week as twelve celebrities entered the house for the second ever series on Channel 5, a figure which fell to 2.6 million for last night’s first highlights show.
1 million stuck around on Channel 5 for Celebrity Wedding Planner, starring Jedward, while 670,000 switched over to 5* for Bit On The Side with Emma Willis.
Plans to boost ratings are already underway it seems, with bosses putting Jodie Marsh in the Celebrity Big Brother house later today.
