X Factor judge Gary Barlow has said he’s becoming hooked on the “buzz” of success and fame, saying that being famous is like a drug to him! Speaking to Esquire magazine, the Take That star revealed he never wanted to lose his fame!
“I recognise in me what I see in Elton and all those people,” Gary admits in this latest interview. “We’re chasing the buzz. It’s a little drug.”
The 40-year-old singer shot back to becoming a household name over the past five years thanks to the reunion of Take That, and his new role on The X Factor has helped Gary to continue his life in the limelight.
“I think once you’ve tasted it, especially once you’ve tasted it a number of times, you never want to lose it,” says Gary.
“It’ll annoy my wife for years, that, but there you go.”
