X Factor judge Gary Barlow has joked he’ll require some three years off following the end of the series next month, having spent almost every waking moment caught up in the reality programme.
Gary, who previously admitted the commitments required by the series had taken him by surprise, said he couldn’t wait for some time off.
“I’m taking some time off next year to remind myself of who my kids are and what their names are!” he said.
“At the moment, everybody in Take That is just enjoying some time off. I reckon I’ll need three years off after X Factor. But I’ve got four live shows to go before that.”
The singer, who last week organised a charity concert for Children in Need, said it had been good to get away from the show… even for a day!
“It’s been nice to concentrate on something else. We get tied up with our own importance and it’s lovely to do something positive.”
