Rebecca Ferguson has insisted she’s “moved on” from One Direction hunk Zayn Malik, defiantly saying today that she won’t be getting back with the 18-year-old after their brief relationship earlier this year.
The pair, both finalists on last year’s show, broke up in the summer after getting together on the tour back in April.
“I’ve moved on to be honest, we won’t be getting back together,” Rebecca told the Sunday Mirror.
“At the time I made a mature decision to split up because it wasn’t working. I’ve got my kids and family and my career to concentrate on.
“I wrote most of the songs on the album and a lot are about relationships and breaking up with people. It wasn’t just about Zayn.”
And Rebecca revealed there was a new man in her life, but this one would be kept secret!
“He’s lovely but I’m dating now. Well I haven’t actually had any time to go on any dates, but I’ve been texting someone. I don’t know where it’s going, but it’s nice,” she said.
