X Factor singing sensation Kitty Brucknell has branded reports that she was racist towards fellow contestant Derry Mensah as “all lies”. The Risk singer claimed today that she had branded him a “black b******” in an argument over a sofa at the X Factor house.
Derry said: “She was sleeping but I came in to do my vocals.
“Then she snapped and went off on one and called me a black b******. She was upset that I woke her up and she looked like she was going to cry.”
But speaking to the Daily Star, Kitty insisted: “I’ve done nothing wrong, it’s all lies.”
She added: “There has been a lot of rumours flying around but they are lies. I’m not sure whether I am a hate figure, I’m not trying to second guess anything.
“But I know I’ve got more hill climbing to do. It’s OK, I like climbing hills.”
