The X Factor 2011 bootcamp: What to expect from tonight's final show!

It’s the last day of bootcamp on The X Factor today, and the pressure is bigger than ever as the final 52 contestants sing at Wembley Arena. As well as facing the judges, the remaining hopefuls will also be singing in front of some 5,000 X Factor fans.

And as we all know, it’s sometimes even harder to impress the audience than it is the judges!

The judges cut some 100 acts yesterday to leave us with this final lot, and there’s some more refining to do tonight in order to select the final 32 contestants – eight in each of the four categories: The Groups, The Overs, The Boys and The Girls.

For their second challenge, the contestants were given a list of some of the biggest chart hits of the last 10 or so years, with songs including Edge of Glory by Lady GaGa and Michael Buble’s Feeling Good.

Robbie Williams’ Angel and Destiny’s Child Survivor are also on the list, but will any of the contestants risk singing them to Gary and Kelly?

It’s tonight that some of the more quiet acts finally come out their shells, such as 16-year-old Holly Repton, who quite literally appears from nowhere to wow.

Sexy Melanie McCabe also impresses, and the judges are left with some tough choices to make with the girls category, with early favourites Janet Devlin and Amelia Lily also continuing to belt out note perfect performances.

There’s less success for the Boys and Overs, as Gary is left unimpressed with Frankie Cocozza‘s performance, and Terry Winstanley messes up his lines.

But it’s once again the groups that struggle the most, to the point that the judges can find only seven acts they want to put through.

See who makes the cut, and how the judges fix the Groups category, when The X Factor 2011 bootcamp concludes tonight on ITV1 at 7:30PM.
