One Direction’s Zayn Malik has insisted that he didn’t hook up with Cher Lloyd while on The X Factor last year. Speaking to heat magazine, the group also revealed the status of their current love lives, with Liam admitting he was currently seeing someone, despite rumours he was now single.
He said: “I can’t give any details away, but I’ve known her for quite some time and she’s special.”
Liam also revealed in the interview his perfect women, Leona Lewis! “She’s hot and seems like a nice person,” he added.
Meanwhile quizzed on his relationship and break up with fellow X Factor finalist Rebecca Ferguson, Zayn said: “That’s personal, so I don’t want to go there.”
But he added: “I’d still go out with an older women.”
And asked about a rumoured fling with Cher Lloyd, Zayn replied: “No! We were just good friends.”
Harry explained: “I think the thing was that Cher was the same age was us, so naturally we got on! If anyone talks to each other on The X Factor, they’re immediately dating.”
The boys release their debut single on September 11.
