X Factor judges Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh have reportedly signed deals which will see the pair return for the eighth series of The X Factor later this year. The duo are thought to have been offered a substantial pay increase – to a massive £1.25 million each – for their return to the show as Cowell and Cole leave the panel for the US.
According to the Sunday Mirror, show boss Simon Cowell believes the pair are the “lynchpins of the British show” and believes the programme could struggle without either.
The paper claims Dannii and Louis will be joined by Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger on a new look panel to be unveiled in the spring, as Simon Cowell and Cheryl leave for The X Factor USA.
A source told the tabloid: “There’s no way they’ll go off and forget about the UK show. Simon and Cheryl will be involved in some way during the UK series.”
Applications for the 2011 series of The X Factor are now closed, pre-auditions will begin in March with filming for the live auditions starting in May.
