This evening it’s the semi-finals, with all four teams performing on the same night for the first time.
Two acts remain in each team, but there’s only space for four in next week’s final.
The pressure is on, with four more acts leaving in tomorrow night’s results show.
As well as there, there’s a special guest performance from Cheryl Cole!

Holly has them out again as she introduces tonight’s semi-final with special guest “Cheryl”. Will.i.am meanwhile has whipped out his torch to show off to the nation. Not sure how we’ll be tweeting if he’s holding that all night!!

First up it’s Ruth Brown with The Voice Within by Christina Aguilera. This is going t be loud.

Ruth storms it with an emotional performance that sees her in tears. “I miss my dad,” she tells Holly. The coaches loved it, but will the public?

Vince is next up with an Amy Winehouse cover. We’re don’t really get the hype with Vince, and tonight didn’t change that. Danny says, for the second time, that Vince will be in the final next week. Sorry, Becky.

Will.i.am didn’t rate Max Milner’s song choice again, while Jessie felt it was “safe”. Danny however hits back: “I think you’re all crazy!”. The public will decide tonight!

Danny claims Jaz is becoming “middle of the road” with Will’s coaching, but the soul singer still wins rave reviews from the coaches after his performance of ‘Let It Be’.

Leanne wows with all four coaches on their feet after a performance of Whitney Houston’s Run To You, and Danny once again tips her to make the final, saying she’s done enough to out-shine Ruth Brown.

Becky shows off her lovely smokey tone with a slow song for once, singing Like A Star. Danny reckons it was a risky move, saying that many people – including himself – don’t know the song. Jessie hits back: “Well they do now!” We’ll find out tomorrow if the risk paid off…

Jessie says she reckons 6 million will be watching tonight. Bit of an optimistic estimate we think!

We can’t get enough of Bo’s voice, and seemingly nor can the judges! The former Lady wows with Coldplay’s Charlie Brown to win rave reviews from the panel.

Tyler James gets the coaches on their feet as he closes the show with a Queen classic, while Sir Tom tries to explain to us all what falsetto is.
