The Voice UK live shows continue on BBC One tonight as eight remaining finalists take to the stage. Join us for live updates from 6:30PM…
This evening Team Jessie and Team Danny’s artists will be singing live on the show for the second time. Each will have a tad under 3 minutes to win the public over with their voice, ahead of tomorrow night’s results show.
And this week the pressure is on, with two acts from both teams leaving tomorrow night.
As well as that, there will group performances with Jessie and Danny taking to the stage alongside their artists themselves.

And we’re off, with what Danny is calling the King Kong of sing song! Tonight will see Jessie and Danny’s latest acts singing.

Jessie says she’s “so excited” for her group performance, looking like Minnie Mouse.

And technical issues mess up Jessie J’s group performance. “I’m so sorry to do this on live TV, but I my mic is not on,” she complains. “I want it to be perfect.”
Jessie restarts the performance as Holly stalls for time, although we’re not sure the result was worth the wait…

Max Milner opens the show but splits the panel over his song choice. Jessie and Will reckon it was too similar to the original and other covers, while Sir Tom commends Max for going “off road”.

Cassius is up next performing Adele’s Turning Tables. Danny thinks the performance was pitchy, while Will describes it as “spectacular”.

All four of the coaches on their feet for Bo Bruce, but when it comes to the comments it seems Jessie and Sir Tom are more concerned about making up raps.

Will.i.am tweets his comments for Vince Kidd, telling the youngster that he’s “the bomb”

The coaches clash over
Aleks Josh, with Will, Jessie and Sir Tom saying it was a safe song choice. Aleks, who overruled coach Danny to sing the song, defends his stance and says he wanted to be comfortable ahead of the semi-finals.

Becky Hill forgets the lyrics to her track Seven Nation Army, with Holly having to apologise for the 19-year-old swearing during the performance. “I screwed up so bad,” Becky says as Jessie runs up to the stage to give her a hug.

Will.i.am and Danny clash over
David Julien. Will says that the song choice and arrangement wasn’t good enough for this stage in the competition. “And your team was better?” quips Danny.

Toni Warne closes the show with an emotional performance of an Elton John track to get all four coaches on their feet.

And lines are open! They close tonight (19th May 2012) at 8:30PM! Tomorrow night we’ll see which two artists in each team are going home and which have made the semi-finals.
