The Voice UK’s Toni Warne has backed Jaz Ellington and his soul to win the show next month.
Just eight signers remain in the competition, who will be whittled down to just four this Saturday night ahead of the final.
Toni was one of the unlucky contestants to be eliminated at the weekend, leaving Team Jessie alongside Cassius Henry.
But when we caught up with the bubbly performer yesterday to chat about her time on the show, Toni only had good words to say.
“Everyone been so incredible from social media, and twitter. People have been stopping me in the streets and saying nice things,” she said.
Asked who she wanted to win, Toni told us: “This is real difficult because there’s so many talented people. I love Jaz, I love his soul, literally!”
But Toni wouldn’t be tied to one particular contestant, adding: “I also love Ruth, I love Max and Vince, so I’d be happy with any of those four.”
And speaking about her plans for the year ahead now the competition had ended, Toni explained: “I want to have an album that I’m proud of that shows the real Toni Warne, that’s something that’s happening as we speak.
“I want it so that in twelve months time that I have that and I’m proud of it.”
