I’m A Celebrity 2013 returns soon, but just who will be on I’m A Celeb this year?
Rumours of the I’m A Celebrity Get Me out Of Here line up are starting to crop up, with a various host of stars already linked to the ITV series.
Among them is The Only Way Is Essex’s Joey Essex, who plans to quit the ITV2 show to join the jungle. A source claimed: “ITV bosses want to make him a huge star and he knows now is the right time to go and do something different.”
But he says: “It’s all speculation. People said I was going in Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing on Ice. But I always say no.”
Former Apprentice winner Stella English is another name tipped for the lineup. According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, producers for the ITV series have chosen to go after Stella over this year’s Apprentice runner up Luisa Zissman.
And model Hazel O’Sullivan is said to be in talks with producers just weeks after leaving Channel 5 reality show Big Brother. “Hazel is going to be meeting with the producers of I’m A Celebrity over the next few days and they have made it clear an offer is on the table,” a source told the Daily Mirror.
Michael Owen has confirmed he has been approached to take part and admitted: “If I was ever going to do one [reality show] it would be the jungle but I would need to be offered a few quid to do it, that’s for sure.”
I’m A Celebrity 2013 hits our screens in the autumn and bosses are set to splash the cash, with US reality stars Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian also rumoured. The Daily Star reported earlier this year that producers could pay the biggest fees yet to get the pair into the jungle in November.
Troubled footballer Paul Gascoigne is another sports star on the rumoured line up, confessing he had previously been in talks to take part in the past. “I would love the challenge,” he said earlier this year. “I’ve had interviews in the last couple of years.”
More recent romours have seen been Corrie actor Michael Le Vell linked to the upcoming series, after he was cleared of all charges last week following a controversial rape trial.
Also suggested for the line up are TOWIE’s Lucy Mecklenburgh, Corrie actor Nina Wadia and Olympic athlete Sally Gunnell.
Former Strictly Come Dancing dancer Vincent Simone has been approached, and is apparently ‘tempted’ by an offer from ITV, likewise Channel 5 chat show host Matthew Wright is too considering a deal from producers.
