More than 1 million viewers browsed the TellyMix website last month, an increase of more than 150% month on month. The finals of Britain’s Got Talent and the Junior Apprentice and the start of Big Brother and X Factor 2010 auditions helped the network to have its most successful month to date.

Hits to the site peaked on the day of the Big Brother 11 launch, with no fewer than 120,000 readers on our Big Brother blog alone – almost more than visited throughout the entire duration of Celebrity Big Brother in January!

Our X Factor blog also saw a return of visitors through its doors as the live auditions got underway, with unique visitors up 120% month on month.

All in all hits across the TellyMix network were up 167% over the month, with advertising revenues up 30%.

At the start of this month TellyMix turned a year old, and what a year it’s been! We started work on the website in April of last year, back then it was a single WordPress blog attracting a few hundred readers but this month has seen record amounts of users browse our network of blogs.

Now powered by a WordPress MU installation hosted on grid technology, our blogs racked up over half a million unique viewers in the last 30 days. Our Britain’s Got Talent blog contributed the most, with over 250,000 readers getting the latest news ahead of the live semi finals.

Our Big Brother 2010 blog also enjoyed a healthy month, with over 15,000 viewers logging onto the website to catch the pictures of the Big Brother 11 house which were released at midnight on Saturday.

All in all hits across the TellyMix network were up 37% over the month, with advertising revenues up 44%.
